I haven't had a good laugh in a while when watching a tv show (excluding the snorks resulting from some of House's most outrageous spates of words) but 30 Rock makes me chuckle - constantly. The dialogue is surprisingly witty for an American series and the characters are well thought-out. The fact that the show lets the viewer do the laughing is also refreshing. And who knew A. Baldwin could do comedy? I can recommend the series, it starts today on Sub. It really gets going after the third episode once they've established the setup, so give it some time.

Mr. Baldwin really steals the show. Well, that page actor is hilarious, too.
I also like the Cat Lady and so on, i.e. Rachel Dratch. Especially her Barbara walters impression in Rural Juror cracks me up every time. All in all the show has some great moments: my favourites include werewolf Bar Mitzvah and the page on caffeine high in the latest episode.
